At NextAfter, Dan VanMilligan focuses on helping nonprofits succeed with online technologies. He has seen first-hand the technical struggles that can plague any nonprofit organization. He believes that implementing the right technical solutions can go a long way to helping nonprofits reach people in need.

Prior to NextAfter, Dan has developed and managed web technology solutions for the nonprofit and publishing industries, church ministries, and multiple web agencies. With over 10 years of experience in web development, he has worked side by side with some of the top minds in technology, business, and online fundraising. Previous work has included building SaaS applications, E-Commerce platforms, CRM and CMS systems, and integrating with a wide variety of analytics, testing and optimization, and email marketing services.

Dan is passionate about creating clean, beautiful experiences, and he believes that web development is more of an art than a science.

Dan is a self-taught web developer with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. He lives with his wife and 4 children in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
