In the wake of recent and unprecedented events related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Canadian nonprofits and charities are under more pressure than ever to provide valuable services while operating under incredibly challenging circumstances. At the same time, it is heartening to see so many sector partners pulling together to support Canada’s nonprofits and charities during this difficult time.

We’ve put together this list of CharityVillage resources, tools, and services available to assist your organization. We will continue to add to this page as more information becomes available, and encourage you to contact us if you have suggestions for additional content you’d like to see us cover.

Video Interviewing Services

We are excited to introduce Pre-Hire Video Screening and Live Video Interviewing Services. Pre-Hire Video Screening is a great alternative to traditional phone screening, as it allows you to invite selected candidates to respond to a one-way video questionnaire. Live Video Interviewing is easy for you to virtually meet your candidates and ask questions. Going virtual is a win-win for organizations and individuals as it not only keeps everyone safe, but also saves time and is more efficient for all involved.

Next generation crowdfunding to fundraise online

CharityVillage, trusted partner to the Canadian nonprofit sector, is pleased to announce the launch of our next generation crowdfunding platform that will help organizations reach new donors and build a sustainable future. The new platform allows nonprofit organizations to easily create and launch crowdfunding campaigns including virtual events, peer-to-peer fundraising, DIY (do-it-yourself) fundraising and wishlists.

The crowdfunding campaigns are equipped with everything needed for effective online fundraising: one-click social sharing, secure donation collection via payment processors like PayPal or Stripe, media gallery, activity feed and more. Powerful admin tools help issue tax receipts, track donations, invite team members and send updates to the community.
