Account Director, Client Services

We are looking for a high-capacity, highly motivated digital marketing and fundraising leader with a desire to help nonprofit organizations grow through content marketing and fundraising optimization.

At the core of our work is a/b testing and optimization. Testing is not just a word at NextAfter, but a part of our essence; we are never satisfied with “good enough.” In action, it means that as soon as a campaign is launched, we start thinking about how to make it measurably better.

We don’t trust gut feelings and intuition to assume something is better. We prove what works using data.. We see 5% conversion rates as 95% failure rates. And no campaign is ever the best it can be – there is always room to optimize.

Our culture is intellectually curious, loves digital marketing, willing to do the gritty work to get things done, and highly focused on achieving results—if you share those traits, you’ll be a great fit.

Must-Have Abilities…

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple clients
  • Relentless customer focus.
  • Proven digital marketing skills – both strategic and tactical
  • Awesome interpersonal and leadership skills – can you lead both client teams and internal staff to accomplish the goal?
  • Strategic vision and implementation based on data analysis
  • Responsiveness with a sense of urgency
  • We hold onto learnings confidently, but with an open hand. We’re always willing to be proven wrong by new data.
  • Ability to take in information and use it to determine next steps

 Nice to Have Abilities…

  • Digital fundraising experience
  • Copywriting. The essence of marketing is the message, and you must understand how to move people to action.
  • Media buying experience. If you’ve run Facebook, Google, or paid advertising campaigns, that’s a plus.
  • Agency experience is a huge bonus.

Education and Experience Required…

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field
  • 5-7 years of experience executing digital marketing campaigns
  • A deep understanding of fundraising means and methods
  • 5+ years of client management experience

This is a full-time role, based in Plano, Texas.

In addition, NextAfter employees receive:

If you are ready to use your skills to decode what works to grow fundraising and unleash greater generosity, this is the role for you.
