Digital Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who loves execution and analytics—someone who thrives on launching campaigns, measuring what works, and continuously optimizing to make things better.

In this entry-level role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to our nonprofit clients, managing digital campaigns from concept to completion and everything in between.

What You’ll Do

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll:

  • Launch and manage digital campaigns across email, paid social, and landing pages
  • Lead day-to-day project coordination and campaign execution for your client portfolio
  • Participate in weekly strategy calls to share results and insights
  • Design compelling ad creative and persuasive email/landing page copy
  • Build and optimize Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns
  • Create marketing automation workflows to drive deeper donor engagement
  • Continuously analyze results, run A/B tests, and suggest improvements—because “good enough” is never enough

What You Bring to the Table

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience running Meta (Facebook) ads in Meta Business Suite or Ads Manager
  • Email campaign creation experience; bonus for HubSpot or MailChimp
  • Basic landing page experience in WordPress or similar CMS
  • Copywriting skills that spark action
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Photoshop
  • Ability to analyze data in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Comfort using Google Analytics to interpret campaign performance
  • Project management skills and experience with platforms like Asana, Wrike, or Monday
  • A love of problem-solving, prioritizing, and executing with excellence
  • Alignment with NextAfter’s core values

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • A/B testing using tools like Unbounce or VWO
  • Basic HTML and email development in MailChimp or similar
  • Additional WordPress or CMS experience
  • Certifications in optimization, digital marketing, or analytics

Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or related experience
  • Exposure to or interest in nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement

Location: In our Plano office with hybrid flexibility

Salary Range: $45-60k
