Social Media Buyer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Social Media Buyer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The Paid Social Media Buyer oversees all aspects of executing paid social media campaigns on networks with a heavy emphasis on Meta/Facebook. This includes building new as well as optimizing existing campaigns. This role includes new account onboarding, strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.

This person will manage the alignment between strategic direction and execution of initiatives for clients that will grow names, donors, and dollars for client programs. Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage paid social campaigns to the clients’ goals from strategy development to implementation, optimization, and reporting.
  • Analyze performance data and provide interpretation and appropriate action plans based on conclusions
  • Develop and manage execution of campaign plans
  • Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in social media and paid social media (betas, ad network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of the dynamic digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display) and how channels work together
  • Assist in development of media strategy and building paid social media plans (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, flighting, budgeting, etc.)
  • Thoroughly understand client’s business, goals and KPIs and how they translate to various media platforms
  • Develop, grow, and maintain relationships through exceptional client service
  • Provide creative guidance to clients, partner agencies and internal teams based goals and media flighting – help clients tell their stories
  • Contribute to client education and develop POVs; evangelize the value of paid social media and the best practices
  • Build effective relationships with all vendors – ad networks, technology partners, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience executing on Meta/Facebook with Blueprint Certification preferred
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is a big plus
  • Experience with direct client relationship responsibilities includes regular reporting, collaborative strategic planning, and performance management
  • Experience working in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines, while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
