Anne Ferguson

Hi, I’m Anne Ferguson, and I serve as the Chief Operating Officer here at NextAfter.

I’m a builder by nature—of systems, teams, and the kind of culture where people can do their best work. I’ve spent the past 15+ years in the nonprofit space, leading organizations through growth, change, and operational scaling.

My work has spanned both U.S.-based and international programs, shaping how I approach leadership and build systems that serve both people and purpose. Whether launching new initiatives or expanding into new regions, I’ve seen that operational excellence and strong team culture go hand in hand.

At NextAfter, I focus on aligning strategy with execution, strengthening our internal infrastructure, and making sure our people and systems are set up to thrive. I’m grateful to serve a team so passionate about unleashing generosity – with integrity, innovation, and heart.

I’m a Baylor Bear for life (Sic ’em!), an aspiring baker with many willing taste testers, and a spreadsheet enthusiast. I’ve always been drawn to work that makes a real difference, and I’m grateful to be part helping mission-driven organizations grow their impact through the power of generosity.
