This experiment was conducted on behalf of WUNC, a North Carolina-based radio station, using a paid media channel on Facebook. The ad copy promotes an email series content offer providing prospects with information on elections and politics. Our objective was to determine whether adding urgency to the copy would increase the rate of complete registrations. Both the control and treatment groups utilized the same creative elements and call-to-action.
Research Question
We hypothesize that incorporating urgency into the ad copy will lead to higher completion rates for registrations. This approach aims to instill a sense of time sensitivity among prospects, emphasizing the relevance of acquiring this information in anticipation of the election year.
