I recently had the opportunity to present at the Leadership Institute in Washington, DC.

They were kind enough to provide the video, which you can watch below. In this video, I unpack the Online Fundraising Scorecard and talk about how nonprofits of all sizes can learn from the research on the online fundraising practices of 151 of the top nonprofits in the world.

The hope of the study is that it would help organizations “optimize your online fundraising”. The study looked at the four key areas that affect online fundraising: email capture, email communication, donation page experience, and the thank you process. Our researchers used a 46 point assessment looking at known factors that improve online fundraising and tallied the results while giving a $10 online donation.
